Agorhi Technologies joins NVIDIA Inception
A moment of gratitude, a wider field of possibility, and fresh energy for the work ahead.
We have some good news to share. Agorhi Technologies Limited has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception.
This is a meaningful milestone for us. It opens a wider field of learning, technical exploration and connection as we build practical digital systems for African markets. I am excited about the opportunity, and grateful for the work that has brought us here.
When I began actively moving into technology in December 2022, I was searching for clarity about what came next. Learning became the starting point. Over time, product management, software development, analytics and AI began to connect with something I already understood: the daily work of running businesses.
From experience to infrastructure
Travel, procurement, logistics and operations have a way of teaching you where systems fall short. A process that depends on someone remembering every detail. Information that is difficult to verify. A customer who has to start again because two tools do not speak to each other.
Those are the kinds of problems that make technology useful to me. A clearer workflow can change the quality of a working day. Reliable information can help someone make a better decision. A practical platform can give a good business room to grow.
That thinking sits at the centre of Agorhi Technologies, the company Omolere Oiku and I co-founded. We are building products and business systems with the realities of African markets in view, and with the ambition to make them useful well beyond their starting point.
A wider field of possibility
NVIDIA Inception supports startups exploring AI and accelerated computing. For us, the appeal is practical: technical learning, access to developer resources and the opportunity to engage with a wider community of builders.
We intend to use that access deliberately. There are tools to understand, approaches to test and technical questions to ask as we decide where AI can make a product more useful. The next step is to match those possibilities to a real workload, evaluate the result and build on what proves valuable.
Where we want to explore
Within Lery Hago, we want to explore how better knowledge retrieval could help people navigate travel information and help teams find the operational context they need. Accuracy, clear sources and human review would be central to that work.
For Vercredx, an area worth investigating is how data and AI tools could support the interpretation of environmental information and project monitoring. Any useful result would need to sit alongside appropriate scientific methods, domain expertise and verification.
Across education and business operations, we see room to test more accessible ways of finding knowledge, coordinating work and turning scattered information into useful next steps. We will choose focused experiments, evaluate them carefully and share what we learn.
This is where the programme feels relevant to our direction: a place to deepen capability while staying close to the problems we set out to solve.
Keep putting yourself in the room
One thing this journey keeps teaching me is the value of pursuing an opportunity before you have every answer. Learn about the programme. Ask the question. Submit the application. Speak clearly about what you are building.
For another founder or builder reading this, there may be a resource, a community or a conversation that helps you move forward. Make time to look for it. Then put what you learn to work.
Building together
To everyone contributing to Agorhi, thank you for the care and effort that go into the work. To the people who will join us as we grow, there is a great deal worth building together.
We are building from Nigeria, with African markets in view and a willingness to learn from the world. We welcome conversations with people who care about practical systems, thoughtful products and purposeful work.
